Every holiday season the staff of ABC Cork and Portugal Imports collect money to donate to SSH, this year they collected $655!  Thank you to all the staff of ABC Cork and Portugal Imports!  This brings their grand total to $6,945.

A HUGE thank you to Violet and Juliet Mendes! In Cambridge on August 1st Violet and Juliet decided to hold a lemonade stand and donate the money they raised to Sebastian's Superheroes.They raised a total of $137.57!

 A BIG thank you to the London Nationals Hockey Club, they held a fundraiser and donated the proceeds to Sebastian's Superheroes!

A HUGE thank you to Kailey Barnes! Kailey was Sebastian's bus buddy at school and on her birthday (May 27th) she shaved her head in support of Children diagnosed with cancer. She donated her beautiful ginger locks to Wigs for Kids and asked friends and family to make monetary donations to Sebastian's Superheroes!  She raised a total of raised $725, donated her hair to Wigs For Kid and looked gorgeous in her buzz cut! 

 A BIG thank you to Cassandra DeMelo from DeMelo Law.  DeMelo Law matched all money raised from the Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day) fundraiser, a total of $842.50!!  Thank you to Cassandra DeMelo from DeMelo Law, and to all the wonderful supporters that stopped by for breakfast and to those that donated money! 

 A BIG thank you to Rui & Sandi Vieira and the staff of Rei Dos Leitoes - King of the Pigs for supporting SSH.  On February 25th, Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day), Rui and Sandi served a pancake breakfast buffet from 7:30am - 2pm at their Hamilton Road location in London.  They donated a portion of the proceeds to Sebastian's Superheroes.  Pancake Day was a huge success! Including donations (from those who couldn’t attend) King of the Pigs raised $842.50! Thank you to all the wonderful supporters that stopped by for breakfast and to those that donated money! 

On February 8th Friends of Sebastian's Superheroes held a Walk The Red Carpet Pre-Oscars gala.  The event was held at the Marconi Club, where guests got to Walk the Red Carpet, dine on an Oscar movie inspired Menu and dance the night away.  Awards were given in many categories including best dressed.  Guests also had a chance to purchase Oscar Ballots (to guess who the winners were in all Oscar categories).  The grand prize, an overnight accomodation with dinner and breakfast at the Elm Hurst Inn & Spa, was awarded Sunday night (after the Oscars) to the person who chose the most Oscar winners.  Sebastian's Superheroes would like to thank Raquel Rodrigues and friends for organizing, volunteering and running the event.  They raised $3,217.51 for Sebastian's Superheroes bringing their 5 year total to $12,287.63!

A BIG thank you to Rui & Sandi Vieira and the staff of Rei Dos Leitoes - King of the Pigs for supporting SSH.  On February 19th, Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day), Rui and Sandi served a pancake breakfast buffet from 7am - 3pm at their Hamilton Road location in London.  They donated 50% of the proceeds to Sebastian's Superheroes for a grand total of $491.65.  

A BIG thank you to Kyla Pavia and Christina Laforet for donating proceeds from their charity volleyball tournament to Sebastian's Superheroes.  On Saturday, April 6th teams spent the day playing beach volleyball at Spike's Indoor Beach Volleyball.  Thank you to Kyla, Christina, the volunteers and to all the teams!  The grand total was $2,080..  

In May, Employees of Ellis-Don participated in a "Toonie Tuesday" Dress Down Day.  Employees could pay $2 to attend work dressed casually.  A huge thank you to the staff members that nominated Sebastian's Superheroes as their charity!  Thank you Ellis-Don and staff for your continued support of Sebastian's Superheroes!  

SSH received a wonderful donation from University Heights Public School.  Thank you so much for your fundraising efforts!

A huge thank you to Aria Matos-Jones, Alessia Machado, Bianca Machado, Gabriel D'Amario, Adrian D'Amario, Alexis Cox, Tyson Cox, Alishah Ghalib, Jean Dejoya, Sebastian Mancini & Emma Mancini . On August 9th they hosted a Lemonade Stand at Walter Saunders Park in Toronto.  We are honoured that this group decided to donate the money raised to Sebastian's Superheroes for the second year!  GREAT JOB!
